College bands fill ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ City with music

Fandago at Applefest in ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ City Centre
The Music Academy (Instrumental) continues to showcase diversity and talent, with two Rock N Pop college bands performing in local events this summer. In collaboration with ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ City Life, college bands “The Allsorts" and "Fandango" entertained passers-by at The Old Market shopping centre on 20th of August.
The following week, on 25th August, both bands played a fantastic 2 hour show as part of The Loft Cinema's new live music initiative "Live @ the Loft". This event was in collaboration with The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Music Shop, funded by Arts Council England and The National Lottery, as part of The Grassroots Live Music Fund.
Fandango had the opportunity to showcase their talents as part of ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ City Council's "Applefest" on 1st October, filling the City with music from the main stage in ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ High Town.
